Fatigue Mechanics

Fatigue Status

Every character in the game can be in one of four statuses. The current status and remaining Experience Points can be viewed in the Fatigue System window or by hovering over the hourglass icon in the side menu.

icon l2Battle Ready.

  • Normal character state
  • Gains 100% experience from monsters, Raid Bosses, and quest rewards
  • Consumes Experience Points equal to the amount of experience gained

icon l2Lv. 1 – Fatigue.

  • First-tier experience limit exhausted
  • Experience from monsters, Raid Bosses, and quest rewards ×0.1
  • Consumes Experience Points equal to the amount of experience gained

icon l2Lv. 2 – Deep Weariness.

  • Second-tier experience limit exhausted
  • Experience from monsters, Raid Bosses, and quest rewards ×0.05
  • Consumes Experience Points equal to the amount of experience gained

icon l2Lv. 3 – Weapon Won’t Obey.

  • All experience limits exhausted
  • Experience from monsters, Raid Bosses, and quest rewards ×0.01
  • Experience Points are not consumed

Attention!

The main class and each subclass have their own independent Fatigue Status.

Fatigue Status does not affect experience gained from Reading Books or Mission rewards.

Gaining Experience

Fatigue Status affects the amount of experience gained from monsters, Raid Bosses, and quest rewards.

Example: defeating Death Knight Death Knight Lv. 50 (Death Knight), which yields 11,281 experience.

  • Character Battle Ready:
    • Gains 11 281 Experience
    • Consumes 11 281 Experience Points
  • Character Lv. 1 – Fatigue:
    • Gains 1128.1 Experience
    • Consumes 1128.1 Experience Points
  • Character Lv. 2 – Deep Weariness:
    • Gains 564.05 Experience
    • Consumes 564.05 Experience Points
  • Character Lv. 3 – Weapon Won’t Obey:
    • Gains 112.81 Experience
    • Experience Points are not consumed

Experience earned in instance zones consumes Experience Points.

Experience Points are not consumed if experience gain is disabled with the .expoff command.

Replenishing Experience Points

Experience Points are automatically replenished daily at 06:30 server time. The amount depends on the current stage of server progression.

If a status limit is not fully exhausted, new points are added to the remaining amount. After replenishment, the character automatically returns to Battle Ready status.

Example: The character had 1 000 000 points. At 06:30, they received an additional 2 500 000. New total — 3 500 000 points.

Experience Points are replenished and accumulated across all limited Fatigue Status tiers.

Experience Loss

Character death in PvE or PvP causes different amounts of experience loss depending on the Fatigue Status:

  • Character Battle Ready:
    • PvE — 1%
    • PvP — 0.20%
    • From PK — 0.40%
  • Character Lv. 1 – Fatigue, Lv. 2 – Deep Weariness, Lv. 3 – Weapon Won’t Obey:
    • PvE — 0.10%
    • PvP — 0.04%
    • From PK — 0.08%

Attention!

Characters in PK (PlayerKiller) state lose 4% experience regardless of their Fatigue Status.
